Changes in reception modes, increase in the amount and type of equipment, digital broadcasting - viewer behaviour is constantly changing. The Global TV study helps you to see things more clearly. TV programmes can now be watched in a number of ways: delayed, on demand, on the move, on media other than the television set, or even portable...
The Global TV study has been designed to explore fields that are not covered by the Médiamat, which concentrates on the audiences for programmes watched live, at home and on a television set. Global TV offers you a way to quantify the use of new modes for accessing audiovisual content and the frequency with which these new supports are used. This means that you can find out the audience volume this represents.
As a multifactor analysis tool Global TV provides a full and detailed view of ATAWAD (Any Time, Any Where, Any Device) television consumption.
Global TV is a barometer study analysing new trends according to 3 analysis axes:
- "Offline" television: delayed (recorded to PVR or DVD recorder or video recorder), on time-shift, on demand (VOD, FOD, etc.) and catch-up TV.
- Where the programme is watched: main residence, secondary residence, at a friend's house, in the workplace, on transport, etc.
- The viewing medium, traditional and new: TV set, desktop or laptop computer, mobile phone, multimedia player, etc.
